Hello!

My name is Leah Towers and I am a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist in South Lyon, Michigan.

I have been working in the field of speech-language pathology since 2010 in a variety of different settings and with many different populations. I decided to start my own private practice in 2021 to provide the type of service I would look for and desire as a parent. I am excited and proud to offer families personal and professional services in a comfortable, fun, and intimate setting.

Owning my own private practice also means that I can specialize in areas that are of the most interest to me. These include: gestalt language development, childhood apraxia of speech, phonological disorders, and early intervention. I strive to be a neurodiversity affirming therapist with additional training in sensory, autism, AAC, and natural language acquisition.

A little about me outside of work: I am married with two young children and a dog and we enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors as a family. Some of my hobbies include cooking/baking, reading, yoga, camping, and traveling :)

I can't wait to meet you and your child! It brings me such joy to watch parents become confident in their ability to support their children and to watch their children achieve their goals and become the best communicators they can be!

- Leah
